Voter Protection
Every eligible voter deserves to cast a ballot that counts.
Volunteers help keep elections fair, transparent, and accessible — at the polling place on Election Day and at county election board meetings all year round.
Two ways to help
Protect the Vote Where It Happens
Pick the role that fits your schedule. Both come with training and support, and no experience is required.
Election Day
Poll Monitor
Support voters at polling places and help make sure everyone who shows up can successfully cast their ballot.
You’ll get trained and equipped to serve at polling places within an hour or two of home.
What you’ll do
- Complete a short training before Election Day
- Help voters find information and resources
- Report problems so they can be fixed quickly
Year-round
County Board Watch
Many changes to how elections run happen at the county level. Volunteers attend Board of Elections meetings across all 159 Georgia counties to keep the process open and accountable.
Sign up to keep an eye on decisions that affect voters in your county.
What you’ll do
- Attend or stream your county's board meetings
- Note proposed changes to polling places, hours, or procedures
- Share what you see so the public stays informed
