Election Day is coming
Our next election is November 3.
Make your plan today.
The people we elect shape our schools, our neighborhoods, and our daily lives. Check your registration, know what’s on your ballot, and decide how and when you’ll vote.
Six steps
Make Your Voting Plan
01
Check your registration
Make sure your registration is active and your address is current before the deadline.
02
Look up your sample ballot
See every race and question on your ballot, then research the candidates before you go so you can vote with confidence.
03
Choose how you’ll vote
Vote early in person when lines are usually shorter, on Election Day, or by absentee ballot. Haven’t received your absentee ballot by the Wednesday before Election Day? Plan to vote in person.
04
Get a ride to the polls
[Describe your ride program here — who provides it, when it runs, and how to book. Remove this step if you don’t offer rides.]
05
Problems at the polls?
If you run into trouble voting, don’t leave the line. Call the nonpartisan Election Protection hotline at 866-OUR-VOTE (866-687-8683) for help.
06
Help others vote
Join volunteers reaching voters by phone, text, and at the door to help your neighbors make their plan too.
Not registered yet?
If the deadline for this election has passed, you can still register now so you’re ready for the next one. It takes about five minutes online.
