Reverend Billy Honor, Jr.
Why do you to this work?
I do this work because it matters. I owe a lot to the faith community for my own formation and they way I pay that back is by working in a way that I think can have the best impact that it can have, and because we need a New Georgia.
How has this work changed you?
It has made me value the power of the people. It has inspired a passion to re-imagine what collective life can look like.
If you could have dinner with anyone dead or alive, who would it be and why?
W.E.B. DuBois. He was the rare breed of critical scholar and effective activist. The way he studied the churches of his time and used that as a way of understanding how to best mobilize people for special change is inspirational.
